A Little Bit Country...

I took the kids to the county fair with my cousin and her daughter. We had been looking forward to it all week, and we were not disappointed!
The biggest problem was tired kiddos... but they still had a great time.
After the fair we headed to Grannis' house and spent the night "in the country". Isaac didn't want to leave he had such a great time. He has added cow farmer to his list of future careers!!

Lots of rambling.....

Saturday was an odd sort of day... it was a little on the cool side, with luminous gray clouds that never seemed to move... sort of like the "little black rain cloud" from Pooh. Anyway, we went to the park in the morning, and during nap time I was able to sneak off to Wooly Bully my new favorite yarn store and get some great yarn for a couple of Christmas presents I am going to make!
After nap time, Isaac really wanted to make mud pies, unfortunately the ground was too dry for mud pies, so instead...

...we got our rain boots on...

...and our diggers out....

...and dug and dug and dug...

...and practiced dribbling...

...and Mark brought theses beauties home!

P.S. my camera is fixed!

Promises, promises....

I know I have promised to blog more, but camera is still out of commission... Hopefully it is going to be fixed by the weekend... don't hold your breath.
We had a great 4th, celebrating Aggie's 1st birthday, my 31st, of course fireworks were viewed by two ridiculously tired toddlers.
I have been knitting again and am currently working on a possible Halloween costume for Meggie. Hopefully there will be pictures to follow!
