Friends

Ever since Corey learned that he is a small percentage Irish, he and Lori have been throwing their annual St. Patrick's party. This year we combined it with Ryan & Christy's baby shower so that some out of town friends wouldn't miss any of the festivities. We had a great time!
Isaac was in heaven with all of the kids that were there…. The adults were definitely outnumbered this year!


There was fun to be had chatting, playing "pig" and basketball. Meg really got into the spirit when she found this hat and empty cups. We may have our hands full with this one!! We partied hard…. And were still home by nine… what can I say, we're crazy like that!!

 

Family

Our typical Sunday of church then naps and playing at Gram & Grandpa's. It was nice outside so in between dinner and dessert we walked to the park and played.

Long time no post...

Here are some things that we have been up to the last few weeks....
Celebrating Dr. Seuss' birthday with our friends, and the traditional Green Eggs & Ham, followed by a half mile walk in 20 degree weather which ended in both of my children crying because they were cold and tired and me cursing The Lorax!





Taking walks, exploring the neighborhood and throwing. Throwing fits and baseballs... not necessarily in that order.

I have no idea what the point of this post is going to be except for the sheer cuteness of Meggie. Yesterday, I was finally able to put Meg's hair into pigtails and this is how her hair looks when the pigtails come out…
Are those little devil horns sprouting? or her version of Nick Nolte's mug shot? her attempt to recycle her snot into hair gel a la There's Something About Mary? Regardless, she is the cutest darn thing I have ever seen!!!

She may look a little crazy, but she counteracts the crazies, with some light bedtime reading…

At least she still has "Touch" aka Fletch…

In the last two weeks….

Isaac got better, Megan got sick.

Everyone healthy put our game face on for the Super Bowl.

Went to Boonshoft, dug up some dinosaur bones, conquered the cargo net, and fear of the big yellow tunnel. And of course the battery in my camera died.

Baked cookies.

Played basketball.

Meg discovers her love of all hats and aprons.

Mark & I plan a date night… canceled because Isaac develops high fever.

Sleepless Saturday night.

First trip to urgent care as a parent on Sunday.

Isaac has first x-ray which shows mild case of pneumonia.

That about sums is up!

Just realized this post would have been more interesting if there were pictures for the second half of it! Sorry!
